I. The Whispers of Willow Creek: Unveiling the Legend of Sarah Gooding

Willow Creek, nestled deep within the Appalachian Mountains, boasts a population that’s as stubborn as the ancient oaks shading its quaint town square. Its most enduring legend centers around Sarah Gooding, a woman accused of witchcraft and subsequently hanged in 1788. Local lore claims Sarah’s spirit still roams the creek bed, her mournful cries echoing through the misty evenings.

A. The Gooding Family: A Life of Hardship

To understand Sarah’s story, one must delve into the context of her life. Historical records, albeit fragmented, paint a picture of a family struggling with poverty and recurring illness. Her husband, Thomas, was a blacksmith whose business suffered due to frequent outbreaks of disease that decimated the local farming community. Sarah, known for her herbal remedies and perceived “uncommon” knowledge of nature, became a suspect when livestock began dying and crops failed following a particularly harsh winter. This was the period when accusations of witchcraft were disturbingly common, driven by fear and superstition.

B. The Trial and Condemnation: A Perfect Storm of Suspicion

The trial, documented in surviving court transcripts, was a farce by modern standards. Evidence consisted primarily of hearsay, circumstantial events, and the testimony of children claiming to have witnessed Sarah casting spells. The prosecuting attorney, a stern man named Elias Thorne, masterfully manipulated the jury’s fear, painting Sarah as a consort of the Devil, responsible for the town’s misfortunes. The accounts of Giles Corey’s earlier death in Salem, Massachusetts, only heightened the hysteria. Sarah, despite her vehement denials, was found guilty and sentenced to death by hanging.

C. The Lingering Presence: Investigating Paranormal Claims

The legend of Sarah Gooding’s ghost persists. Visitors and residents alike report hearing weeping near the creek, particularly on nights of the full moon. Some claim to have seen a spectral figure, dressed in tattered clothing, walking along the water’s edge. Local paranormal investigators have conducted multiple investigations, utilizing EMF readers, EVP recorders, and thermal imaging cameras. While no conclusive evidence of Sarah’s ghost has been captured, the frequency of reported experiences and the consistency of details are compelling. The emotional energy associated with the trauma and injustice Sarah suffered could have imprinted itself upon the landscape, leading to these perceived paranormal phenomena.

II. The Phantom Brakeman of the Iron Horse Trail: A Tragedy on Rails

The Iron Horse Trail, a popular hiking and biking path converted from an abandoned railway line, holds a darker secret. The story revolves around a brakeman named Silas, who, in 1912, perished in a tragic accident while attempting to couple two rail cars. The legend states that Silas’s ghost continues to perform his duties, forever patrolling the tracks, a lantern swinging in his spectral hand.

A. The Rise and Fall of the Ravenwood Line

The Ravenwood Line, constructed in the late 19th century, was vital for transporting coal and lumber from the surrounding mountains to the burgeoning industrial centers. It provided employment for numerous families in the region. However, the work was dangerous, and accidents were frequent. Silas, a young man eager to provide for his family, was one of the many who risked their lives daily on the line.

B. The Fatal Coupling: A Moment of Inattention

The accident that claimed Silas’s life occurred during a particularly hazardous shift. According to eyewitness accounts, Silas was attempting to couple two cars on a steep incline when his foot slipped on the icy rail. He fell between the cars and was crushed instantly. The incident was officially ruled an accident, but some whispered about negligence and faulty equipment.

C. Sightings and Sounds: Decoding the Railway’s Echoes

Reports of Silas’s ghost range from flickering lights along the trail to the distinct sound of train whistles and the metallic clang of couplings. Some hikers claim to have seen a transparent figure, dressed in railway attire and carrying a lantern, walking alongside the tracks. The spectral figure is usually perceived at dusk or dawn, often accompanied by a sudden drop in temperature. Skeptics attribute these experiences to tricks of the light, the wind whistling through the trees, and the power of suggestion. However, believers point to the consistency of the descriptions and the emotional intensity of the encounters as evidence of genuine paranormal activity. The history of tragedy and the repetitive nature of Silas’s duties in life could explain the residual haunting, where his actions replay themselves in the fabric of time.

III. The Weeping Bride of Blackwood Manor: A Love Story Turned to Despair

Blackwood Manor, a dilapidated mansion overlooking the town of Oakhaven, is steeped in tales of heartbreak and betrayal. The central figure is Elizabeth Blackwood, a beautiful young woman who, on the eve of her wedding in 1888, was abandoned at the altar by her fiancé, Charles Ashton. Overwhelmed by grief and humiliation, Elizabeth took her own life. Legend says that her ghost still wanders the manor, forever searching for her lost love, her mournful cries carried on the wind.

A. The Blackwood Family: A Legacy of Wealth and Influence

The Blackwood family was once one of the wealthiest and most influential families in the region. They owned vast tracts of land and controlled the local timber industry. Elizabeth was the only daughter of Jonathan Blackwood, a stern and demanding man who had high expectations for her future. The arranged marriage to Charles Ashton was seen as a strategic alliance that would further consolidate the Blackwood family’s power.

B. The Ashton’s Deception: A Scandal Unveiled

The reasons behind Charles Ashton’s abandonment of Elizabeth remain shrouded in mystery. Rumors circulated that he was secretly involved with another woman, the daughter of a rival businessman. Others suggested that he had discovered a dark secret about the Blackwood family that made him reconsider the marriage. Whatever the reason, his actions left Elizabeth devastated and publicly humiliated.

C. The Cries in the Night: Understanding the Emotional Residue

Reports of Elizabeth’s ghost typically involve sightings of a woman in a white wedding dress, often seen weeping near the windows of the manor. The sounds of sobbing and mournful whispers are frequently reported, especially on nights around the anniversary of her intended wedding. The oppressive atmosphere within the manor and the pervasive sense of sadness contribute to the belief that Elizabeth’s spirit is trapped, unable to find peace. The tragic circumstances of her death and the unresolved emotional trauma could have created a potent psychic imprint, manifesting as the recurring apparition. The manor itself, as a repository of memories and emotions, may act as a catalyst for these paranormal manifestations.

IV. From Local Lore to Reality: Examining the Psychological and Sociological Factors

While these ghost stories may seem like mere folklore, they offer insights into the human psyche and the social dynamics of small towns. The stories often reflect deep-seated fears, anxieties, and unresolved traumas within the community. They also serve as cautionary tales, reinforcing social norms and moral values.

A. The Power of Suggestion and Collective Belief

The power of suggestion plays a significant role in shaping paranormal experiences. When individuals are primed to expect a ghost sighting, they are more likely to interpret ambiguous stimuli, such as shadows or noises, as evidence of paranormal activity. Collective belief, where a group of people share a common belief in a ghost story, can further amplify these experiences, creating a self-fulfilling prophecy.

B. The Role of Storytelling in Shaping Identity

Ghost stories are an integral part of the cultural fabric of many small towns. They are passed down through generations, shaping the community’s identity and sense of place. These stories connect residents to their history and reinforce a shared understanding of the past.

C. The Search for Meaning in the Unexplained

The enduring appeal of ghost stories reflects a fundamental human need to find meaning in the unexplained. In a world often characterized by uncertainty and chaos, ghost stories offer a framework for understanding death, loss, and the mysteries of the universe. They provide a sense of continuity and connection to something beyond the material world. The search for answers may lead to a better understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

  1. Austin, this turned out so amazing. You should be super proud. Great storytelling and pacing. Jaime is an amazing interview and I’m so proud of her for telling her story. Thank you so much for giving the show such a nice shout out! Lou, you did great too!! 👻🎉❤️

  2. These are so awesome, follow ups, 20 years later from the people on A Haunting? PERFECT!! Plus new stories. I hope you can do them ALL, especially the first five seasons.

    1. Thank you so much this means the world to me!!! A haunting in Florida is up next… already filmed interviews with Ed and Beth Dunnam!!!👻👻 I also got all the EVP’s and hours of video footage from the house never before seen anywhere

    2. I know it’s so nice to kinda find out how everything ended up. I rewatch a haunting all the time.

    3. @theghostfiles Snagging Zillow photos. Using video of blue house. This is bullcrap…from Lamar and there was never a hint of stories about that old farm house prior to this claim. The realtors there would never have shown a house with pentagrams and it would have been known to everybody in town and gossiped about daily.

  3. I live 13 miles from this house. Thank you for sharing your story Jaime and great job Austin.

  4. I truly believe the limestone rich land in Arkansas helps contribute to the extra spiritual energy that is able to manifest. If you’ve ever been to Eureka Springs, Arkansas it is almost as if you can feel the heavy energy around you.
And thats after adjusting to the slight elevation btw 😉
Downtown Eureka and the Crescent Hotel have a special energy to them.

    1. Fyi- it’s NOT the Limestone per se, but the 2ndary porosity in the form of underground passages, rivers, – it’s the way groundwater moves thru the subsurface. Water carries the electrical current of spirit.

    2. The atrocity of slavery, brutality of Jim Crow, along with the violence of the civil war have left their mark/dark energy.

    3. Is that similar to areas like in Arizona where you can feel an energy in certain places?

    4. Wow both these comments are strong and truthful. I have read that limestone is a keeper of negativity, and later after learning ways of different cultures that water indeed has strong power, especially what it come in contact with as it flows..I agree with both views.
And for sure the dark brutal history for hundreds of years, generations of inequality, segregation and the violence of it all..followed by the civil war is another power in itself.

  5. If that had been me the moment I saw a pentagram and the used candles I would have gotten out of there very quickly.

    1. Hahah same! I love old homes but there’s no way I would have thought it was okay to bring my family to live there

  6. For real.. if you have people come in to ”investigate” your home for spirits and they whip out a ouija board, do not delay sending them a rush trip out the nearest door. If you wondered if you have a problem before, after one of those things used you’ll most certainly have a hell of a problem after they leave. How irresponsible of them to do that.

    1. It’s comments like this that continue to make believers in the paranormal appear so ridiculous. 😂

    2. @BeardedBushMan81 Christians are given the power to cast out demons – which is what “ghosts” are.

  7. Thank goodness these people came to TGF to tell their stories again. I used to like A Hauting growing up, but that show is OH SO OVER DRAMATIC. Now I just enjoy TGF that actually let these people tell the stories like real human beings instead of an action-ghost film.

  8. I had a somewhat similar experience. Mine was a bit creepier, but it was only me that experienced it. Someone walking across the floor upstairs on 3 different nights, me with my gun searching everywhere upstairs, a sound of someone stomping very hard down the stairs, etc. I later talked to my ex wife, and she said she had some creepy experiences also.

  9. The pentagram and candles would have caused me to turn around and walk out. That should have been their first clue.

    1. When my husband and I were househunting back in the early 80s, we were shown a home where a pentagram was painted on a bedroom door. We told the realtor nope, we’re not interested and walked out.

    2. Some people just dont believe in that stuff and think its rubbish… unfortunately they are wrong

    3. The really good deal on a very old house that doesn’t need totally remodeled and a pentagram would’ve made me think real hard about it

  10. That’s why people bless their homes before moving in, but I wouldn’t haven’t bought this one at all if I just saw them
    Candles!

    1. One would think the Realtor could of at least took them down along with the pentagram! I always bless my homes before I move in!

    2. Exactly! Unless I missed it in the video, not once was having the house blessed or God mentioned. These spirits were given complete control.

    3. Complete Hogwash! Jesus Christ is the only expert on how to get rid of demons . He NEVER used candles . He commanded them , and they obeyed Him . Demons are terrified of Him . Candles? Good Grief , you think if she “lit a candle,” those demons that possessed her son would have left ? Please read the new testament , Jesus dealt with many possessed people , and He used The Bible , the Word of God , NEVER A CANDLE!

    1. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I just saw this but I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your donation!!! It’s beyond kind of you to do that. ❤❤

  11. What an interesting story by the Shea family, I always found this one to be particularly frightening! It is always more emotional when children are involved and they experience the terrifying phenomena as well. I am also so glad everyone survived that horrific car accident, I mean its just what they needed with all the haunting stuff going on inside their home! Also, I caught on to the fact that you put an edited version of the “ghost screaming in a haunted hotel” video as part of the CCTV footage. I’ve seen that video many times over the years and it always gives me the chills! It was really great that you got to be on the podcast, that must have been a nice experience for you to be a part of as well.

    1. Alot of people don’t believe in paranormal until they actually experience it which is why I’m not too alarmed that they still decided to buy the house

  12. If my child said there is something wrong going on in his room. I would believe him and not let him stay in that room. My job is to protect my children.

    1. Good parenting. It’s your responsibility to make your children feel safe, whether you believe in paranormal or not. Feelings safe=feeling loved. And kids don’t make up things like that-they’re not seeking attention or “imagining” feeling fear..It makes many ppl angry wen parents force their children to live in fear, especially wen those same children become adults, and many decide they want nothing to do with their parents. Which much be awful when the parents become elderly and are left feeling alone-and it all comes full circle.

    2. That’s always the first thing I think when they make kids sleep in their rooms when they are scared, I never would have either, I listened to and trusted my Children

    3. All kids go thru not wanting to sleep without their parents. No one really thinks the house actually has a monster under the bed. I doubt you give your kids everything they ask for. These things don’t happen nightly….what are you supposed to do? Move right away? Most can’t afford to do that. Keep the kid in your bed forever?. Be rea, not dramatic. Glad your a good parent, dont assume others aren’t l

  13. NEVER let someone come to your house with a ouija board. They’ll make stuff way worse and then leave the family to deal with it.

    1. In Europe, they are not allowed to be sold in regular stores much less TOY STORES like here in USA. These things are evil tools used to contact evil entities.

    2. That’s what my wife and I said too! “Bad idea” I have never seen a paranormal investigator use one! Not very smart!

    3. Ouija boards are straight from hell…no it’s ands or buts about it! Stay FAR away from them!!

  14. The baby monitor with crying while your baby is not crying…. It happened to my sister, her baby was not crying but she heard crying in the monitor, and the voice of the mother who came to console the baby.
It is quite common for these monitors to pick up the waves of another monitor in the neighborhood, it is probably a baby crying in a neighboring house.

    1. I’ve heard that the baby monitor can pick up on other people’s conversations. 48 hrs or 60 minutes did a take on it

    2. They can. I heard a man and his wife having a phone conversation. It ended with her telling him she was pregnant.

    3. @SnarkyBugMom95 I overheard, as did the person with me (first date with a VERY nice guy when we were young and innocent) phone sex! A friend of mine got a conversation between a couple and the lady said, “you’re just using me for sex!” Lots of “crossed wires” in the 90s 😅

  15. Guarantee you lot of locals knew about that house. There is a reason they “got a deal!”

    1. Always check the history of a potential new home, ESPECIALLY if the price seems too good to be true!!

    2. I live in Lamar, and I’ve never heard of any of this. Neither has my husband or his family and they’ve been here their whole lives. I’m very surprised it isn’t open air news, but I’m sure the prior realtor or owners knew something. My mother in law is a realtor, the deal never made sense to her.

    3. @chleorrrrnorrrrr2915 Grew up in Lamar too and we both know that if there had been any houses being shown with pentagrams everyone would have known and gossiped.

    4. “The house was beautiful and we couldn’t believe the deal we got” equals run away!

  16. The pentagram and candles would’ve been an immediate NOPE. Parents, please BELIEVE your children if they express fear of things you’ve never experienced. They’re much more susceptible to the paranormal and the veil is much thinner for them. Believe your children. Period.

    1. I agree! One day my sister and I went to our dad’s grave with my 3 year old son. We always found it comforting to “visit” dad. Anyway, my son was just starting to talk and was babbling a lot and that day he was sitting on the tombstone, he was very animated, “talking” non stop, waving his arms in the air and looking at the sky. I did and still do believe he was having a conversation with my dad.

    2. @hangsolow216 no societal / peer pressure regarding the unknown – open books – they will say what they see and feel

  17. Her constant smiling is a sign of Nervousness. She is Not Lying! I feel for the family!!

    1. Thank you. I appreciate this comment more than you know. I’m shocked at how much grief I’m getting for smiling. At the time…almost 20 years ago…many of the things mentioned caused us to be so fearful, and stressed, heartbroken and at our wits end. But yes…almost two decades later I’m grateful I CAN smile when I tell the story. We all made it through those events and so much more and we are doing well and happy. My three now adult kids are thriving! No one was scarred for life and I’m not going to pretend we were for the sake of adding “drama” to this video. I have a lot to be grateful for and to smile about. So I’m gonna keep doing so. Oh yes…I do also smile even more when I’m nervous.

    2. I hoped you’re all doing great, too bad because the house is really beautiful…stay happy and grateful, God is always just a prayer away.

    3. @jaimensheaI completely understand most of what you are referring to .unfortunately I grew up in a house very similar to this in the Ozarks area. I am somewhat of a local historian and local history filmmaker. I have no formal training but I’m good at it. I’m considering doing another project on ghost Stories of the South and hauntings. My parents never believed me if I put on film what I remember it would be comparable to the Shinning.

    4. I don’t doubt her story but the constant smiling drove me crazy, couldn’t continue watching.

  18. Honey, the house is haunted and there’s a pentagram painted on the fire place
    Ok dear, let’s buy it.

  19. For once, I’d love to hear when a kid says there’s something wrong in their room, that the parent says “Let’s trade rooms. I want to see what’s going on for myself”

    1. We did that. I told my husband to take my son in our bed and I will stay in his room. Man it was everything my son told us. Blinds violently shaking. I could not stay in there. House was blessed. Mind you this was a new house so the property must have had something. We had lots of activity over a course of 5 years, very physical, scary, some comforting. Thankfully, the activity just stopped. We had to consult someone for help. I was so glad to sell that house.

    2. I wanted to know if the people renting the house, after the family moved states, also experienced the noises etc

    3. @angeladowden4535yesss I was hoping we was going to hear about that part but that’s prob why they couldn’t keep it rented out. Everyone kept leaving bc they were scared😂 Usually these YT esp with their own podcast save certain things to be able to make another video. Maybe she will share that next.

  20. As soon as I saw the pentagram I would have been out of there and never returned! F that place!

  21. Thank you for letting her tell her true story. I hate it when ghost hunting shows amp up the horror, so to speak.

  22. A Haunting was one of my favorite shows I’d watch with my mom back in the day. It’s awesome to hear the real stories and get a real perspective! Great video!

    1. destaneeflores i have a gut felling you and your mom drank coco or hot chocolate when you watched it and she kept glancing at you to see your reactions

    2. A Haunting was exposed for changing the story and making it more scripted for ratings.. i don’t take them seriously, other than the survivors themselves.

  23. If the price for a house is less than similar houses in the area, it’s time to ask the question why.

    1. The house was in need of a lot of work and was in disrepair in the early 2000’s and even prior. It wasnt renovated until the latter 2010s. It wasn’t listed less than similar fixer uppers, but less than renovated and solid houses.

    2. Exactly. The repairs were likely done with an eye to the profit margin. Cheap repairs make noise and may pass standard inspection but not be the most reliable. 100% of what is described in this can be debunked with a thorough inspection. This was not an actual haunting.

  24. I love this documentary style format! I also love hearing about A Haunting shows and more in depth interviews. Thanks for this, love it!!! I hope to see a lot more of them:)

  25. If your children don’t have a tendency to lie and they tell you they’re terrified to sleep in their room…idc if you’re skeptical of the paranormal or not. It’s my job to protect my child mentally, spiritually, and physically. That means they’re sleeping with me until we find a solution

  26. I lived down the street from multiple plantations & Victorian homes in Camden , Arkansas. they look stuck in time and spooky , everytime you walk pass you feel like someone’s watching you but it be no one there , in it has a old smell your senses won’t forget

  27. Her smile can be described as a “Gallow smile” … Can be described as a grim, forced smile, often associated with a sense of impending doom or despair.

  28. I just want to say thank you for these stories being told in a normal and informative manner rather than putting in a bunch of super creepy clips just for the scare factor. I love paranormal stuff, but I also work alone on a night shift 😅 This channel’s videos are a perfect balance of story telling, letting the victims share their history, and still giving just the right amount of scare-factor.

  29. Thank you for your attention to the real details and actual truth. I enjoy your series. I have an old house right now that was built in 1882 and I’ve had all sorts of interesting experiences, mostly when I first moved in in Aug of 2006. I would hear loud knocking on my bedroom door and there would be no one there, my dogs all would stand in the hallway and stare into the kitchen near the refrigerator and growl.. very odd.. It’s calmed down quite a bit since then and I feel for the most part whatever is here is perhaps the spirit of a young girl who was murdered (not in the house). The scariest thing that did happen was back in about 2009 or so when I woke up to see a very tall shadow person standing in my doorway.. It was terrifying. I tried to wake up my dog that was sleeping next to me and I could not rouse her whatsoever. I put my head under my covers for what felt like several minutes and when I peeked again it was still there. I really do not sleep up there much anymore, although nothing else like that has happened since then, just mostly odd noises here and there.

  30. If your child is terrified sleeping in his room, WHY would you continue to force him to sleep there? Swap rooms with another child and see if that solves the issue, or better yet, sleep there yourselves! Even if it is just a child’s imagination, their FEAR IS REAL. Do something to alleviate it!

    1. I saw a ghost when I was about 11 in a pub we lived in, I swapped bedrooms with my parents the very next day!

    2. I was a forced child it ended for a time after the room and house got blessed to this day I remember the things that came to get me every night.

    3. Not every parent cares. My father got very angry when he found me sleeping under their bed when I got too scared of what was happening in my room at night from the ghost.

    4. Even if the child isn’t seeing a real ghost, she’s upset or afraid about SOMETHING. I don’t care whether the parents believe in ghosts or not (I don’t). It’s their job to help the kid figure out what’s wrong and fix it.

  31. Truly chilled by the story, cannot imagine what all must’ve the family had been through, it was terrible in the worst ways yet glad with the knowing that they’re all well and especially torry.
Wishing well ahead for the family.
The editing was magnificent my spine is still processing the wonderful way of narration and just everything about the video.

    1. Thank you so much!!! I can’t tell you how much this means to me!👻❤️can’t wait for you to see what’s next!!!!

    2. Haha keep making more 😭 I’m truly obsessed with your style, obviously can’t wait to see the next one already!!! @theghostfiles

  32. The son hearing loads of people talking over each other is exactly what I used to hear when I lived in an old haunted pub. It was like the bar downstairs was full of people in the middle of the night when it was empty.

  33. I used to live in Lamar and my best friends mom lives (still to this day) in the house directly next door. Every time I was there I hated looking over at that house. I’m absolutely floored to see THIS house in this video. Absolute wild!

    1. The disclaimer says it is not the actual house. Is there a picture of the real one somewhere?

    2. @redjar9166 a friend of mine who spent most of his 60 years in the area pointed that out too. But STILL, that house they pictured is the one I’m talking about. There’s a little dark brown house with a dark brown shed you can barely see next to it from some angles and we spent so much time there. That house pictured is evil.

    3. @LadyCasparthank you, I was confused because the video kept showing two different houses so I wasn’t sure if either was the haunted one. Must be eerie to see something like that in person.

    4. @hangsolow216the house I’m talking about and the one shown in the video is 526 Cabin Creek Ave. This story may be about a different house but THAT house… it’s dark.

  34. Someone calls you by name in a brand new town and says your house is haunted but this lady didn’t want to pick her brain? Ok.

  35. In my culture (Filipino), before we completely move in we ask the priest to bless the house in every room, in every nook and cranny. In this way, it’s always a clean slate.

    1. In hinduism also we ask the priest to come to house and chant some vedic mantras and with help of fire we invoke the gods to bless the house and we also make the cow amd calf to enter the bew house because we comsider cow to be holy .

    2. Yes! Same here (Italian)! My Grandma would go around to each door & windows and would make the sign of the cross with Holy water and sprinkle salt around the perimeter of the house and a Blessed Cross above the front door! 😇🙏

    3. Sad mostly don’t how powerful the blessings of the house. In that way God is protecting the house from evil spirits.

  36. The saddest part is her daughter not being buckled in while sitting in the front. If she had been, she wouldn’t had been ejected. 😢

  37. I really appreciate how this channel stayed true to the mother’s version of events. It’s rare to see a haunting story told without unnecessary exaggeration or changing key details. Great job respecting the original storyteller.

    1. I don’t watch most of these channels because they’re so fake, but I do like this one. People sound legit!

  38. The creator called “TheGhostFiles” is truly the best paranormal ghost story teller out there
So far, I have seen two from this creator. I hope more to come. No exaggerations, no monsters with bloodied faces jumping out, just real paranormal stories. Best on the whole internet.

    1. This comment means so so so much to me!!! Thank you for your kind words and support. You really made my night!!! I can’t wait for you to see what’s coming next!👻❤️

    2. This story and their commitment to the truth in the details is why I’ve subscribed and will check out anything else they have. Can’t wait!!

  39. In the late 1960s I was 12 years old and my parents and I were going to church driving through country roads of corn and cows. I saw a friend from church standing by the side of the road. My parents didn’t stop because they didn’t see him, I could see him clearly. We got to church and his parents were crying, he hadn’t been seen for days. We drove back and I saw him again and no one else did. I made my dad stop, Lee’s family was following our car. I ran up to my friend and talked to him, he didn’t say a word just stared out to the distance. His family and my parents came up to me and asked who I was talking to, they couldn’t see him.

My dad looked in the weeds by the side of the road filling a ditch and found a motorcycle. As he dug through the weeds there was Lee’s body. His mom fainted. I could still see Lee solid as could be standing over his body in the weeds. I found his body because I could see his soul. No one else could see him but me. I told this on my chan nel

    1. That’s so sad. The poor parents. Thankfully, you saw him. Who knows how long he may have been undiscovered.

  40. That’s my nephews family! His mom would share some crazy stories about this house. It’s so crazy seeing our small town on here

    1. The poor mother.. first she has a haunted house, then one of her kids mixes with a black and destroyed the gene pool..

    2. Must be so cool for you seeing this!

They stole from shots from my home town though – I recognized Medina Ohio at 8:07 😂 So random to see that in a story about a home in Arkansas.

    1. My house is actively haunted! I live in a historic home in Leavenworth Kansas. Profoundly haunted. Full apparitions, poltergeist activity, etc

  41. I am so pleased to hear this story again. I saw the episode on it that A Haunting produced, but this is by far the better documentary on the case. Excellent work.

  42. Jaime seems so believable to me. I like how she smiles when she speaks. She just seems like a real, down to earth person telling her story. I’ve lived in Arkansas for years and appreciate her opening up and telling her story. It doesn’t seem to be hyped.

  43. I love this channel so much!! It’s incredible that you can give the voice back to those who went through something like this just for a tv show to fabricate their story for views. Thank you for being so genuine. ❤
